Great podcast episode about Alan Turing. Turing was a mathematical genius that broke the German’s “unbreakable” code in WWII and then more or less invented the the concept of artificial intelligence and modern computer science. He probably could have accomplished even more but the laws and culture of 1950’s Britain ruined his life when the government learned he was gay.
